Watching Films With a Purpose

Last year I wrote about a friend and former client who was now making films about things that are important to him.  Lou Douros made the film and his son scored it.  We saw this film and others this weekend at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City.

After the screening we spoke with Lou and Blaise about the film at a reception:

During the reception we learned that the film has been picked up by a show on PBS and is currently being edited to fit their broadcast.  We look forward to seeing this story on TV and the next film that’s almost finished shooting from this great team.

In the meantime, check out the trailer from this film at AkuaFilms.com and if you’d like make a donation to the Hawaiian Islands Disentanglement Network.
