I’ve written several times about the need for PR folks to be savvy about search engine optimization and search engine marketing.  This is a no brainer for our business.

Schwartz Communications is formalizing their SEO options for clients with a new service. Check it out.

From the release:

“Public relations activity and content is one of the most effective ways of keeping SEO components topical and fresh. But many traditional SEO/PPC campaigns are not integrated with public relations, limiting their long-term effectiveness.”

Many PR folks talk about the lack of purity or transparency with SEO and SEM.  By working with a trusted vendor or having those capabilities in house, that point is moot.
