Last week I referenced a podcast we were producing for someone presenting at SXSW. Sandi MacLeod of the Vermont MIDI Project will be talking about how they help young students learn how to compose music using a network of mentors across the country. The students then get together at the end of the project to perform music they composed in an Opus Concert. The talk is Tuesday, 3/11, from 3:30-4:30 in Ballroom E. This is the same time as Kevin Rose’s presentation, but let’s face it, helping kids learn to compose music is better than comparing the size of your Digg.
It’s now live at their site!
