April 7th & 14th, I’ll be teaching a course at UC Davis Extension on “Social Media” and “how marketers are using each new medium to create brand awareness and buzz, and learn how these communications tools affect your firm’s marketing, advertising and public relations strategies.”
Sacramento is a government town so I’ll also be looking at how government agencies across the country are using social media. One of the most exciting, and most recent is the TSA blog that has been up for a few weeks and apparently has already been part of policy change at the Agency.
So, if you’ll be in the area and can spare two evenings, come check it out. It’s a noncredit course and the tuition is $225. There are discounts for members of AMA, IABC, SiOC, SPRA and PRSA.
You can register and learn more here. And if you found the course through Don’t Eat the Shrimp, drop me a note and let me know.
