I was in Los Angeles most of the week for NAMM, which is the music industry’s major trade show. Think CES but with lots of people with pony tails, tattoos, and really loud music (music being created right there not coming out of an XBox 360 like at CES).
I was there with Sibelius. Outstanding show, the booth was great, the leads collected were great and from our side we met with a lot of the media that we don’t get a chance to during the rest of the year.
Sibelius shared a booth with M-Audio and Digidesign (who are part of the Avid Audio group along with Sibelius). We sponsored a joint ‘Media Booth Preview’ the morning before the show opened, and all together there were over 50 media attendees who had a chance to meet with company execs and take a look at the new products before the show floor was over run.
