Does your site have ‘meta porn?’

I just read a fascinating post from Peter Shankman of the GeekFactory about ‘meta porn’ tags that were included in the code of a website for a very well know PR firm.

I just went and checked and didn’t see them there now, but highly, highly recommend you read Peter’s post here, about what he saw. Be advised the meta tags he found are not safe for work.

Lesson learned here, be very careful about cutting and pasting HTML code for your site. Check it thoroughly. I just checked ours and thankfully nothing was found.

If you want to check out the code on a site, go to the site and go to ‘view’ drop down select ‘view source.’ It’s that easy.
