Business Week article on AT&T attempting to incorporate the Cingular orange and other items into its brand after officially killing them.
So, the concept is that Cingular and AT&T are one company. That’s good. The problem is that customers still get two bills, in my case I get 4 (one AT&T landline for office, one AT&T landline for home, one Cingular/AT&T Wireless for office, and one Cingular/AT&T Wireless for home).
Also, when I call to talk about one, they can’t help me with the other.
Lesson here, don’t let your branding/advertising get in front of your operations. If you’re not really integrated yet, don’t tell your customers that you are.
