Vogue Takes A Stand: If You Don’t Want Us to Advertise Cigarettes, Pass a Law

John Stodder points to an interesting kerfuffle happening between Glamour, Vogue (and 9 other women’s magazines) and Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif. regarding pressure to not accept cigarette advertising.

We at Morgan/Dorado choose to not work with tobacco companies. This is a business decision. That being said, if a legislator is pushing to make tobacco illegal then do it. But until then, don’t try a public shakedown.
