Conflicting Messages Muddy the Waters for Business in Vegas

In Business Las Vegas: “The marketing of sin that helps draw tourists to Las Vegas is an impediment in luring corporate headquarters to Southern Nevada, according to a white paper released by the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies.”

Interesting article on issues faced by economic development groups in Southern Nevada, i.e. Las Vegas area. The ‘what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’ message is great for enticing tourists who are in search of fun, but not quite the right message for communicating the business value for companies to relocate to the area.
