How do you really feel?

Advertising Age: “‘There are a few times in your life when you have to tell someone to f— off and mean it.'”

These sage words are credited to Peter Krivkovich, CEO of Cramer-Krasselt, former AOR for CareerBuilder.

I recommend you check out their site because they have some interesting things up there, which I can’t link to directly because the site is in Flash:

– on the front page is a link to “C-K Resigns CareerBuilder,” which takes you to;
– the memo sent out to staff explaining the break-up (which is really fun reading)
– a WSJ article/Q&A with Krivkovich about the break up

They have definitely taken command of the situation and defined what the conversation is about. I’m not going to editorialize about if what they did was right or wrong, that’s up to you.

On a related note, Morgan/Dorado is currently looking for 1-2 new clients. We like working with companies that want to be engaged in PR and integrate it as part of their strategic marketing mix. We like to work with CEO’s that are passionate about what they are doing, and are willing to make the commitment necessary for success with PR. If you know of any companies that might be a fit, let me know at josh at morgandorado dot com.
