Well done slide show full of helpful tips for small business’ (or any business) trying to increase their likelihood of media coverage. One important point is left out here, ‘identify why you want media coverage.’ Are you trying to attract new customers, new employees, new funding etc.?
This decision will drive everything else. Then, make sure that the media coverage is in support or inline with other marketing activities. One media impression by itself is not going to ‘move the needle.’
