Shel Israel talks with the Twitter guys. This is a few days old, but definitely worth a watch.
A few nuggets:
- Average user posts three times per day
- Number of posts through the API (i.e. 3rd party apps) is about 20X web traffic
- 60% is non-US
- 40% of non-US is Japan (Japan Twitter launched this week)
Interesting business use discussed:
- JetBlue – uses Twitter to engage directly – sometimes includes special deals
