Even beyond ‘nothing is local’ there is increasingly less filters. Want an example, check out livenewscameras.com. This site is amazing. I found it via Brian Solis. Think of a serious news control room, lots of feeds from around the world coming in and you get to choose what you want to watch. There’s 150 different live feeds coming in at any given time.
What does that mean for you? You can see what doesn’t make the news. You also get to see lots of reporters standing there reading notes, and saying ‘stand by.’ There are very cool moderators, that act as sort of anchors to try and point viewers to interesting breaking video. They show up in a window on the right hand side of the screen.
