This morning it was announced that AOL has acquired the Bebo (huge in UK) social network for $850m cash.
AOL is definitely not the company it was eight years ago, and there has been a lot of talk of breaking up AOL/TW, so this is my thought. Is this basically a reverse merger? Will AOL now spin back off with a social network at its core?
